Its useful for live use, e.g. reading small print, but only seems to magnify 2x. The "lock", then magnify, feature is simply just taking a picture, which you can already do. Oh, and the pictures do not change orientation, so get it right the first time. I got this free, so Im lucky. Please dont pay for it. I think you will be disappointed.

This really is awesome for those of use with older eyes that need readers. Im excited about this one! Seriously, try it. It was a fast download. If you dont like it, it will be a fast delete. But youll like it!

I think its great functionally in that you can save your zooms. I think it would work better if there was a zoom slider at the bottom so you dont have to pinch what youre looking at with two fingers. I prefer to use the app with one hand (like a magnifying glass!) and the double-tap isnt precise enough.

There are other apps to do this, but Lumin is the best. I can read the tiniest writing with this.

The app failed with error 11852. Cannot use back camera. What good is it? I have the latest version.

Super useful "front page" app for me. Great implementation and concept. It just works!!! Get it!!

If you like to see things in great details (the knit pattern of your fine linen/sheets; each hair on you birds feather; the tiny prints of anything, etc.), get this app. This is a fun and useful app! (Although this app is intuitive and easy to use, I do wish someone could tell me how to delete the pictures from the app... And by the way, Lumins Setting is located in iPhones Setting. Right on the bottom front page, in the list of apps.)

This app has been on my front page for years.

I sometimes forget my glasses in my backpack. I dont use Lumin often but love it when I need it. I recently opened the app and got an error saying it cannot use back camera. I tried switching camera and the app closes. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. I emailed App Support and got a quick response. For some reason (probably an iOS update), the permission to use camera was switched off.
