It crashes every time in iOS 8. They need to provide a fix.

This app does this one thing exactly right. Wow. Updated version for iOS 8 is awaiting Apple approval.

I love this app. Its great as a magnifier and for taking pics of low or no light close up situations. Think picture of product info on back of washing machine without pulling it away from the wall. The only problem is that I cant get it to launch without a crash in iOS 8. I desperately need an update. Update: Developer has submitted update. Apple, please move aps broken with iOS 8 to the head of the approval line. We need our Lumin!

I have been waiting for the OS8 update. I use this app more and more as time destroys my vision. Fantastic app!

Very handy app. It works like a charm. You can even take a photo of your fingerprint. Like having a macro-lens on your iphone. You can even turn on the flash as like a flashlight to eliminate your subject.

What a wonderful app. It comes in so handy when Im trying to read and capture the small print like serial numbers and network keys from hard to read equipment.

Thanks for the update. Its now working on IOS 8. I am constantly using this in dark restaurants as I never have my reading glasses with me, but I always have my phone.

I never review apps, but this app is too cool. How many times have I gone to the store without my reading glasses. Now I can see the prices and read the box. This will be one of my most used apps. Thanks I love it.

I bought this a couple days ago "just in case." Within 24 hours, it paid for itself. I downloaded instructions off the internet on how to program a remote. After printing it, it was reduced to a size so small, I couldnt read the codes for the devices which I would need to use to program the remote. So I fired up Lumin and zoomed in to the codes. I turned the light on and there they were. Easy to read. I then quickly finished the programming task. Very easy to use and effective app.

I hate this app its worthless you can just use your camera and zoom in and it will be the same thing it takes up space so DO NOT download it its bad and has a bad resolution

Often I get a new app & flounder trying to get it working. This is very easy to work & if you need more answers it has something to tap on to. What more can you ask for?

Great app. I have wanted something like this for a long time. Ive often shown up at the restaurant unable to read even with my glasses because the light was so low,the print was too small. this is a great app easy to use

Menus in dark restaurants are difficult and I dont always bring my purse which has my reading glasses. I always bring my phone. No more worries!! Also wonderful for reading small labels on items in the stores. Thank you for this!!

downloaded this today. a great app! I use my phone to look at stuff hard to see - where my camera can go, but I cant, too small to read, wiring on computer boards, etc. this makes doing that easy, and quick access to the information. perfect for me.. thanks!!

Reviews I see so far seem to be the developer and friends and one troll. Ive nothing to do w. the developer and Im not a troll. Honest review: the UI is apple-like: intuitive, simple, easy to master in about 2 minutes. It allows MAGNIFICATION substantially higher than camera view allows but of course the RESOLUTION is fixed by the hardware. So at some level of zoom the image isnt useful. But its the zoom BEYOND what you can do in camera view up to hardware resolution limitations that provides a meaningful new use-case so that is clever, and truly well executed. Nice extra touches include freeze image, take picture, share picture, turn on flash, and use of front facing camera too. Again VERY thoughtfully put together, and its not trying to do 50 things. It basically does 1 thing and it does it very well. At just over 4 megabytes its a tiny tiny app so no worries using up memory. I like it a lot. Kudos to the developer very nice job indeed.

This app is kind of pointless. The built in camera can zoom in the same. Seems to me a waste of space.

In trying to avoid getting readers, I can do it much longer now. Never will have to look for readers because I always have my phone!

I was a bit skeptical initially, however, from what Ive seen so far its pretty good.
